 Collins Brothers has been in business for 27 years, we specialize in the sales, service, parts, restoration and preservation of 1976-86 CJ’s and 1987-2011 Wranglers. We fully service every Jeep before it is placed on our lot for sale. This is a major service done regardless of mileage or the Jeeps condition. Service includes:

  1. Our technicians pull the front and rear differential covers off, flush the differentials, inspect the ring gears and spider gears, check bearings, re-seal, fill differentials, and then check for axle and pinion leaks.
  2. All wheels are removed, rear brake drums are removed, all brake components are inspected, if below 50% they are replaced, damaged, grooved rotors or drums are replaced. Inspect wheel cylinders and inner axle seals, if leaking they are replaced. We only use new brake parts.
  3. Fluids are then changed motor, transmission and transfer case.
  4. New air cleaner and oil filter.
  5. Exhaust system inspected, intake or exhaust manifold areas, check repair if necessary, catalytic converters and mufflers checked and replaced if necessary.
  6. Cooling Systems are pressure tested replaced with new metal radiators not plastic if necessary.
  7. Windshields replaced if cracked.
  8. No torn tops on our jeeps, replace if any rips or tears.
  9. No tires below 50%.
  10. No torn seats.
  11. All gauges are repaired if not working correctly.
  12. Battery and charging systems checked and repaired as needed.
  13. Steering components including steering box, tie rods and ends are replaced if showing any signs of wear.
  14. Interiors are completely removed from Jeep, steam cleaned and re-installed.

 

All Jeeps have current inspections and are emissions tested if they are newer than 25 years old. No grinding gears in transmissions. We do not have any commissioned Jeep sales people and will be here for you before and after the sale. We do all of this and still have competitive prices. If you are considering buying a jeep that has not been recently serviced by a Jeep specialist or does not have a current Texas inspection and emissions test sheet this could be a costly mistake.
